By accessing or using 404Watcher ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
404Watcher provides automated monitoring of the destination URLs (landing pages) used in your Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ads. The Service connects to Meta with read-only access, it never edits, pauses, creates, or publishes ads, and has no access to your payment methods or billing on Meta.
Checks run automatically every hour while you have an active paid subscription. In each run, the Service retrieves only your currently active ads (skipping paused, archived, expired, or schedule-ended ads) and sends an HTTP request to each destination URL, following redirects with a short timeout. A URL is flagged when the final response indicates a problem, for example client errors (4xx, including 404 Not Found), server errors (5xx, including 500/502/503), SSL/certificate errors, or unreachable pages and timeouts. Detection depends on the data and statuses returned by Meta and the target servers at the time of the check.
The Service is offered in different tiers with specific quotas. You agree to operate within the limits of your selected tier:
* "Active Ad Account" refers to any account user explicitly selects for monitoring in the Dashboard.
All payments are securely processed by Lemon Squeezy, our authorized payment provider and Merchant of Record, through a checkout shown directly on 404watcher.com. Subscriptions renew automatically every month until cancelled.
All sales are final and non-refundable.
Since 404Watcher provides an affordable Solo Tier allowing you to test the Service for a minimal cost before committing to higher tiers, and because the Service grants immediate access to digital tools and data consuming server resources, we do not offer refunds.
By subscribing to a paid plan, you expressly agree that the supply of the Service begins immediately upon purchase, and you verify that you waive your right of withdrawal (including any 14-day cooling-off period under consumer protection laws). You may cancel your subscription at any time to stop future billing, but no partial refunds will be issued for the current period.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. While we strive for high accuracy, we are not responsible for false positives or missed broken links due to external factors (e.g., website blocking, transient network issues).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 404Watcher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Service Accuracy Disclaimer: 404Watcher is an automated assistance tool designed to identify broken links with high accuracy. Like antibacterial products that catch 99% of bacteria, our tool is designed to catch the vast majority of issues. However, due to the complex nature of the internet, false positives or false negatives may occur.
The Service is provided as a supplementary tool to aid your workflow, not as a guaranteed replacement for human oversight. You remain solely responsible for your advertising campaigns and any budget spent on broken links that the Service might technically miss.
